BALER
MACHINE
The purpose of a “Baler Machine or Line” is to
accumulate the packets from the Form Fill and Seal machines
and pack or bale them into poly or paper baler bags which
are then sealed and conveyed on a belt. These baler bags may
then be “check weighed” on a Check Weigher before
being conveyed to a palletiser or manual palletising station
for dispatch. The baler bags may be placed on the machine
manually or the entire line can be automated using a bag placer
thus allowing a number of lines to be operated by a single
operator. The machines allow for a substantial saving in labour
and associated costs.
The new range of baling machines can be fitted with a variable-sized
accumulator, which is adjustable for a range of product size
e.g. 500g, 1kg, 2kg, 5kg-pillow pack.
Series 1000 Baling Machine
The most basic model in the range replaces the traditional
baling table at the end of a form fill and seal (FFS) machine.
It accumulates and packs the packets neatly into a baler bag
(polyethylene or paper) which is then manually sealed. This
operation is performed by a single operator as opposed to
the traditional three to six operators at a baling table.
Series 2000 Baling Machine
This is the first of the semi automatic baling line.
Its function is to:-
•
accumulate the pillow packs produced on the Form Fill &
Seal (FFS) machine
• pack them into sealed polyethylene (or paper) baler
bags
• manually form the top of the baler bag and feed
the baler bag into the sealer
• feed the sealed baler bag to the palletizer station
for (manual) palletizing.
Series
3000 Baling Machine
This is the first of the automated range whose functions include
automatically accumulating the pillow packs off the FFS machine,
packing into baler bags, folding of the top of the baler bag,
and sealing of the baler bag.
Series 4000 Baling Machine
This is a fully automatic machine with functions that include
automatically accumulating the pillow packs off the FFS machine,
the automatic feeding of the baler bag onto the accumulator
duckbills, packing of the pillow packs into baler bags, folding
of the top of the baler bag, and heat sealing of the baler
bag. It incorporates the Automatic Paper Bag Placer/Positioner.

AUTOMATIC
PAPER BAG PLACER / POSITIONER
This is a pneumatically operated and PLC controlled unit that
automatically feeds the paper baler bag onto the duck bills
of the accumulator on the baler line. This unit serves two
prime purposes:-
•
to eliminate the necessity for an operator, and
• to ensure
that the baler bag is correctly positioned on the duck bills
every time.
This
unit also allows for one operator to man more than one baler
line at a time. The operator ensures that all lines run smoothly,
is available to stop a machine should any pillow packs burst
or split during the packing operation and refills the baler
bag feed unit at the necessary intervals.

CHECK
WEIGHER
These weighing machines can be for either moving or static check
weighment lines. The filled bag's weight is checked on either
a moving or static conveyor belt using load cells connected
to an electronic controller.
Any under or overweight bags are identified either by an alarm
or by being forcibly removed by an electronically controlled
pneumatically operated bag pusher that removes the bag from
the conveyor belt. Each machine is manufactured to each client's
specification or particular needs |

GRAVITY
PACKER
For granular products
The Gravity packer is a simple inexpensive
packer for abrasive and non-abrasive free-flowing material,
such as pellets, samp, rice, granulated metals, grains, sugar,
industrial sands etc.The Gravity Packer simultaneously weighs
and fills valve bags by feeding material from the hopper by
gravity with flow automatically cut off when bag being filled
reaches the desired weight. All parts in the path of product
are manufactured from stainless steel. This simplicity of design
assures minimum amount of maintenance. The Gravity packer is
pneumatically operated. The filling speed is relatively slow
but one operator can handle two machines if so required. |

ELECTRONICALLY
CONTROLLED SCREW PACKER
The Precision Metal Products Screw / Auger Packer
is used for packing powders or hydroscopic products such as
flour, maize meals, chemicals etc. This machine can be used
on certain granular products where the granules are small and
it is not very important if a small percentage of the granules
are damaged. The machine is electronically controlled which
allows for accurate weight measurement. This machine can pack
bags from 6kg to 80kg, with valve sizes to suit 90 to 140mm
valve bags. Note: A Screw Packer is not suitable or recommended
for abrasive products. |

ELECTRONIC
NET WEIGHER
This is an electronically controlled net weighing machine that
can weigh from 10kg up to 80kg bags. Being electronically controlled
the system is accurate thereby reducing product giveaway and
increasing profits. A single line can produce 6 - 8 bags per
minute depending upon the size of bag being weighed. A dual
weighing system with single outlet can be made thus increasing
the production up to 16 bags per minute. One operator can mange
placing 16 bags per minute. |
